Ionic Contamination
Ionic contamination on assemblies or under components can significantly affect their climate resistance and, in the worst case, lead to failure. International standards (e.g. IPC J-STD 001) contain limit values for ionic contamination and specifications for their measurement.
The technical articles explain practical tips on the correct implementation of the measurement methods ion equivalence measurement and ion chromatography, influences on the measurement result, the correct interpretation of results, as well as other areas of application of the methods.
